JADE/JAYDE vs. JADA/JAYDA vs. JAYDEN/JADEN

My sister really loves the name Jade...I think it is too common and popular. She really wants to call her daughter this name. So would you happen to have one you prefer either as a first name with an added middle name or vice versa. Thank-u for all the help in advance.

Jayde or Jayden gets my vote, I love both of those names, which with Jayden it can be a uni-sex name and one of my nephew’s has the middle name Jayden.

Jada might be nice, but please don’t use Jayden/Jaden. If you’re worried about popularity, Jayden shouldn’t even be considered. Its FAR more popular then Jade.

Jade is actually more popular as amiddle name more so then a first name.

What about Jadie? You don’t hear that very often and it’s cute and feminine, not uni-sex. You could try the following for middles:

Jadie Ruth
Jadie Lynn
Jadie Marie
Jadie Kathryn

There are so many middles that would work...just try out a bunch and see what fits with her last name.

I like the suggestion of Jadalyn- i had never heard it until now. Then they could call her Jade, Jadie, or Jada

I would let your sister pick whatever name she wants for her daughter, Jade is not that popular, far less so than your suggestion of Jaden.

Agree with pp--Jayden is WAY more popular/common than Jade. I actually like it better, but if you’re honestly just concerned about the popularity issue, I would steer clear of that name. I think Mackenzie Jade is cute, or Jayden Marie.
