Brianna vs. Bryana
My husband and I are expecting twin girls in a few months. We love the names Brianna and Bryana both but I was wondering if it would be too weird using them is they sound too much alike? Brianna(pro. Bree-anna) and Bryana(pro. Bree-ahna).

This cant be a serious poll, but just incase it is. of course they are too close. Briana and Ashley Briana and Hannah you really need to give them individual names that dont sound anything alike. Good luck!

I can’t stress enough how confusing that would be to have the names so close. Your children need to feel individual with their own name and the two you’ve chosen are almost the same name, both in spelling and pronunciation. How about keeping one and using the other as the second twins’ middle name if you like both of them so much?

You could use one as a first name and the other as a middle name and that would kind of keep it down some but if you want to use both as first names that would be really weird.

They’re practically the same name. Just because they are spelled a little differently and one accent is different doesn’t make them different names. It would be really mean to name your girls those.

They’re too similar to each other. Brianna is a little bit too close to the name of the cheese, too. Breanna is nicer. Bryony is nice.

My name is Brianna, and personally , I love my name, and it is my favourite spelling.
I pronounce my name Bri-ah-na...I live in Newfoundland, and a lot of people decide to pronounce it Bri-ann-a.--i really hate that pronounciation. Please do not saddle your child with the whiney bri-ann-a pronounciation !!
