Addie vs. Full name?

Hi everyone, I love the name ’Addie’ I think it is so adorable. I used to have a friend in highschool named Adara ad she went by Addie. My mom thinks Addie is too nick name ish and not a very good first name by itself. What full names can I use that Addie could be a nick name for? I don’t like Adelaide. -Jenna

My sister just had her daughter Adalyn (ay-duh-lin) a few weeks back. They call her Addie sometimes even though the A gets pronounced differently.

My daughters best friend is Addison nn Addie. Just be aware though, that names ending in "son" are generally masculine. As in "son of".
