is it vs. okay?

We love the name Abiel for our daughter’s middle name. We love the sound and the meaning and the flow, but there is just one problem: it’s a boy’s name. If it’s in the middle, and it’s not a name that is widely used (for boys or girls), would it be okay to use? Her first name will be Selah, no matter what her middle name. We have an older daughter named Hosanna Jubilee. Thanks!

If you’re worried about it being masculine, try spelling is Abielle or Abiela. Just like Ariel is masculine and Arielle/Ariela is feminine.

But I do like Abiel the best. Hosanna Jubilee and Selah Abiel would be cute. GL!
