We\’re vs. having vs. twins

Hey everyone. My name’s Rebecca and my husband and I are expecting twins in July. This was very unexpected! We have Olivia Jasmine and Elsa Rose, who are 6 and 3. Please help us choose names. Sexes are unknown, so we’ll need plenty of suggestions to get us going! We like Heidi, Amelie, India, Madeleine, Emmeline (Emma-lyn), Loren (with the REN stressed), Leia, Emilia, Anneliese and Bree for girls, and for boys we like Dylan, Alexander, Aiden, Milo, Jonah, Emmett, James and Harvey. Thanks, Rebecca, Simon, Livvie and Elsie

Wow. They’re all fine-sounding names.

Personally, I like Leia Madeleine and Amelie Bree for girls.

For boys, I like Emmett James and Harvey Alexander.

For boy and girl, I like Heidi Amelie and Milo Emmett.

Best of luck! Those names are gorgeous!

Lauren, this is a diffrent feminine spelling, Loren is the spelling thats usually given to boys, but i’m unsure if you like it for a boy or a girl.

I like it for a girl. It’s lovely. I know a woman with the name Loren. I prefer this spelling. I didn’t know it was for a boy. Thanks for letting me know. we might use Lauren.

From your list I like, Madeline nn Maddy and Bryana(or Breanna) nn Bree for twin girls. Have you ever thought about Morgan and Taylor? For sister’s they compliment each other alot, and thier unisex, so no matter what gender you have, it will be these names no matter what.

TT- dylan and James compliment each other well, but I don’t think Madeleine and Emmeline do, as they rhyme. I’m not really fond of names that rhyme! I like them both, but not together. Thanks anyway.

The name doesn’t make the person- I’m not really keen on Morgan and Taylor as unisex names aren’t our style at all. Thanks anyway! (I’m fussy, I know!)

Well I definetly like Emmeline. How about Emmeline and Anneliese?

G/G- Amelia and Loren (LOVE both of these names...very unique and they sound great together)

B/B- Harvey and Milo (These are great names for boys that are underused and age well)

G/B- Milo and Amelie (Don’t they sound darling together? I think so!)

I wouldn’t go with Annelise if you call your daughter Elsa Elsie...they sound similar to me. Besides, Annelise is getting very popular. It would make a nice middle name for Loren, depending on your last name though. :)

I meant to see Amelie and Loren for the G/G twins, not Amelia.

I agree that Amelie and Loren sound really nice together...especially since Amelie is a French variation of Emily and Loren is a French variation of Lauren.

I would say Harvey Alexander and Milo James sound nice together.

Wow thank you all so much.
TT- Anneliese and Emmeline go better together. Thanks.
Shelly- Great suggestions. Milo and Amelie do sound brilliant together, and Amelie and Loren. Harvey and Milo sound great together, too. This is our problem. We like so many different combos!
Guest- Harvey Alexander and Milo James are brilliant combos. Thanks very much.

Amelie’s great - and Madeleine’s quite nice, but Maddison’s nice too - she could be Maddy/Maddi then anyway. Good luck x
