Anayla vs. ??
We are expecting our second baby girl in a few weeks. Our older daughter told me about the name Anayla that she came up with. I have looked on baby name sites and it had no results for this name. I love the name and don’t think it sounds made up. What’s your opinion? We were also thinking on the mn being Brooke. Suggestiongs will help though. Older sister’s name is Madeline Jade. How is it pronounced? On first look, I said Ann-all-ya, then I thought maybe Ann-yall-uh. Both are different but pretty. Anayla Brooke is darling! GL!

I pronounced it A-NAY-Lah the first time I read it. I think it is a lovely name. Anayla Brooke is pretty and I think it is nice that your older daughter gets to be involved in welcoming your new baby. GL

I don’t care for it. It does sound made up to me and it would be confusing since most people are going to go "Huh? How do you spell that?"
I also don’t think it’s a very good fit with Madeline since Madeline is classic and popular. Anayla is trendy sounding (sounds a lot like Kayla, Mikayla, Jayla, etc) and very uncommon. How about Anneliese or Angela?

Anayla Brooke is pretty...you might have to pronounce it once a year for the teacher but how bad would that be? Good luck!

It’s pretty but it does sound a little made up to me. Maybe switch the N and L and make it Alayna? Anahla would be pretty too.

HAHAHA. It’s very interesting just years ago I could find nothing about the name. Now it’s everywhere. Yes, my names Anayla. And no, it sure as heck isn’t made up!!!!! I love my name. But don’t make It common!!!!!

I love the name Anayla i wanted to name mii baby girl when i have one Anayla too...but it was
going to be spelt A’Naylla and her middle name was going to be Taymar. But anyways love the name stick with it because its perfect your daughter did good coming up with the name!!<3
