Aislynn is pronounced Ashlynn which is confusing and I am soooo tired of Ash- names.
Adelia isnt terrible and I like the meaning. I feel the same way about Nevania.
If I were to choose I would pick Nevania.

I thought Ashlynn came from Aislynn, an Irish name but I thought the Irish way of saying it was Aislyn...like the spelling. I don’t like Ashlynn either. Thats disappointing.

Adelia looks like Ad-ee-lee-ah, which is lovely.
Adeliah, Adelle-eye-ah, is also pretty, though I do prefer the other spelling I think this is the best one for the pronounciation you want. The more I say Adeliah the prettier it sounds.
I’ve never been a big fan of Aislynn.
Nevania is sweet and interesting, but I much prefer Adeliah.
Have you considered the spelling Adelaia?

How would Adelaia be pronounced? We started off first liking the name Atalaya pronounced Adelle eye ah. which is actually a latin name meaning watch tower. Than we tweaked it and found out by changing the spelling we changed the meaning as well. We are thinking of Naming her Lydia Katherine Adelle and calling her Adeliah.
I have a daughter named Olivia and I really want it all... A classic beautiful name, plus something unusual, and very feminine to call her by.

Adelaia would be Add-el-eye-ah (Or Adelle-eye-ah).
I suggested it because Adeliah/Adelia will probably be prn Add-ee-lee-ah most of the time, instead of the prn you want.
I think Adelaia Katherine would be lovely. It is a little more unique than Olivia, but they are cute together.
Olivia and Lydia are a little close and I think giving her 3 names when really you just want to called her Adeliah/Adelaia is silly, especially when Adelaia is such a nice sounding name for a fn.

FOr emphasis sake, Adelaia - would be closest to the prn adeh-lye-ah (Ah-deh-LYE-ah). And is mostly likely to be said like that by other people reading the name.

I really struggled over this name and I agree with you. Before we ever found out we were expecting we had decided on the name Katherine Atalaya but then I wanted to honor my grandmother a lady who is now 90,her name is Lydia.
My Girls names are Elizabeth Kennedy (18), Margaret Olivia( 15) and Victoria Camryn(13). They are all called by their middle names. I have mixed feelings about that now but I have always been called by my middle name so thats just what we did with our kids. I named Olivia (also a family name) the same year everyone else decided too. It was an Olivia baby boom. The name was practically unheard of before then. I really want something unusual this time but still classic to go with other girls names. Also wanting to honor my beloved Grandmother.
