please help me to vs. narrow down my list!

I have a long list of names that I like for my daughter, and I am having a lot of trouble narrowing it down. Could you please eliminate one name, and then put down your favorite name from the list (regardless of whether or not it’s been eliminated already). Thank you! ~Lena

I like Georgia, Amelie, and Eliza. I like some of the others, but many, like Tilly, Francesca, Harriet, Millie, etc. are kind of far-fetched or cheesy. But, try to only consider the ones that stick out to you. Forget about new ones that you hear if they are cute, but not amazing. If you can’t picture your child being named it, then just don’t consider it! God bless you!

I like Georgia.

Please don’t do Charlotte. It means "man", literally has the word harlot in it and rhymes with harlot, and is sooooo popular.

Eliminate Gracie.

Alice is definitely my favorite. It reminds me so much of Alice in Wonderland (one of my favorite books). It’s serious and well-established, but it’s got a bit of whimsy attached to it. It’s also very simple and flows well with your longer, more difficult surname.

Alice Charlotte or Alice Francesca would be stunning. And if you ever happen to have another daughter, Matilda (another name that is very similar to Alice in terms of feel--see the above paragraph), would be lovely. Good luck!

*NOTE: I think that someone is just spamming you at this point. Most of the comments are coming in about 30 seconds apart and they are all in the same format.

I really love Clara and Evie. I think that Eva sounds best with your last name, and that Evie would be an adorable nickname for Eva.

Elena is a little too close to your own name, in my opinion. Lena is a form of Eleanor, so I’d eliminate that option, as well as anything beginning with an ’L’ (Lily, Lucy, Layla, and Libby).

Tilly, Evie, Gracie, Ella, Millie, Ellie, and Annie would make great nicknames, but they aren’t quite substantial enough for full names in my opinion.

Niamh and Seren might be a little bit too difficult with your last name. Annabelle, Charlotte, Florence, Francesca, Isabelle, and Elizabeth might be a little bit too long.
