Which of vs. our names vs. sounds the best?
We are pregnant with a little boy due August 1st and have decided that we will use my husband’s father’s name Rodney as a mn but we can’t decide on a first name. My husband is set on using Rodney because Rodney passed away in 2004 and they were very close. The names I like are Lucas Rodney, Devin Rodney, Garrett Rodney, Noah Rodney and Blake Rodney. My husband likes Bryce Rodney, Eric Rodney, Caleb Rodney and Jordan Rodney. Which of these sound best. We also have a 3 yr old daughter named Avery Lynne. Thanks, Jennifer, Mike & Avery

How about a compromise of Jacob Rodney? It seems to be a similar sounding combonation of Blake and Jordon. Good luck!

Because Avery is one of those names that could go either way (boy or girl), I think you should choose a name that is most definitely boy. You don’t want people looking at the Christmas picture and wondering "Which one is Avery and which one is Jordan?"
Too ambiguous (these days) to be a brother of Avery: Devin, Blake, Bryce, Jordan
Of the male-enough ones that are left, I like Lucas and Eric. Depends what your surname is.
