I love Caitlin or Katelyn. Emma and Emily are too common in my area, so I am tired of those.

Katrina Jolie is a pretty name, but if you feel you should change it, then I think it should be Emma Jolie. Best of luck to you. :-)

change it. maybe keep the same initials though. mhmm. kenzie jordan, kennedy jayde or something totally different but modern like: jaycee eden, lillian moriah or cambree maxwell

I think Katrina Jolie is pretty, so personally I’d keep it. But if you’d rather not then I think Kaitlyn, Katherine or Katelyn would be best as they still give her the nn Katie.
Either Jolie or Emma as the mn would be cute.

Why do you want to change it? Is the paper work going to be a lot of work? Will this help you see your daughter as ’yours’ and no longer your sibling’s? All of your options are nice (equally nice to her name now). I could understand if the name was something you did not like, but Katrina sounds like the daughter of Anna (they go together).

I really appreciate all of the feedback. I’m just not sold on Katrina. I would be willing to use it as a middle name. Katrina Jolie is beautiful it’s just not my first choice. To Poster #14, I feel like she is my daughter no matter what. I am just trying to get everything sorted out. I was also considering giving her my sisters first name Sarah (her biological mom). So maybe Sarah Jolie. Anyway, I still have a lot of deciding to do before its all final. Thank you all again so much, Anna
