If making up names using the "son" suffix, why not use your husband’s name + son (and thus not be using a made up name)

Jacob + Son = Jacobson

We didn’t make it up. It’s my MIL maiden name. My husbands name is Lucas so Lucasson lol wouldn’t work.

I don’t like it.
Ryeson/Ryson or Ryan would be fine, it’s just the R that makes it odd to say.

I like Rhyson/Ryson but I’m not real fond of Ryerson.
Rhyson Luke or Rhyson Lucas sound really cute.
