Erika vs. Erin

Little girl due July 11th. Torn between Erik and Erin. Which do you prefer and why? Big brother and sister are Zachary and Alana.

Having two kids with an "ah" ending doesn’t really matter to us, but thank you for the opinion anyway. I appreciate it.

Erin is much more feminine. Erica/Erika just looks like a feminine version of Eric and not a stand-alone name.

Zachary is a masculine name with a preppy feeling. Alana is soft feminine name. They both sound good together. Erika is really masculine, with the sound Eric and Rick. Not at all feminine. Thus it sound good with your kids names. Erin is masculine too, but much more feminine than Erika. So if those are the only two names you are considering, then go with Erin. It’s much better with your kids names.

Both of your kids now have names that contain two A’s. I’d even go for something along those lines..

We don’t need any new suggestions. Her name will definitely be either Erika or Erin, and we find both quite feminine.
