None vs. Sound vs. Right!

Hey there! My three favorite boy names do not go with our last name and I could really use your help. The names are Archer, Arthur, and Asher. Looking at the three, do you have any suggestions that sound better with the last name Carter? Thank you! -Kara

Ashton? Or Ashley. Both work for the nickname Ash.

Ashton Carter sounds nice. Any name that doesn’t end in "R" should go fine. Or start with "AR" as in Parker.

You definitely need something that doesn’t end in er.

I like Archibald and Ashley but my husband hates them and I can’t say I’m a fan of the name Ashton, sorry! The names do not have to sound similar to the three, if you could think of names similar in style that would be great!

Parker doesn’t really go with our last name to me, I want to avoid all names ending in R. I’m not a fan of any of those A names, sorry! Suggestions don’t have to start with A, it just happened that all three begin with that letter

I don’t like any of those A names either, sorry! The names do not need to be A! It would actually be more helpful if they did not beging with A

I have a friend with the last name Ashby so it would be a bit weird for me to use! I love Gideon, Levi, and Graham!
