Name vs. Help- vs. Baby Girl

We had our sex reveal today and our baby is a girl! We want a short name for this girl since her last name will be long (McKerr-Catalina). What are your favorite short girl names that go with that?

Most of these are way too long. We might consider two syllables but ideally we want one. Her last name will be 6 syllables so we don’t want to throw a long name on top of that.

Congrats! Some of my favorite short girl names are: Ava, Grace, Elena, Alexa, Claire, Lia, Mia, Asia. I hope that helps. I’m not sure what type of names you like so I wasn’t sure what to suggest. Good luck.

Feedback?

I like Gwen, Brooke and Saige. I also like Eden but I really would rather use a one syllable name.

What do people think of no middle name? I am really loving Eden. Eden McKerr-Catalina? Is it too long? And she would have no middle name. Is that ok?
posted by guest :: 4 years ago | report
I love Quinn and Reese too!

I prefer the name Elin (ee-lynn) but Eden is nice. I think short middle name is fine. Eden Jade

The thing is, most people never get introduced by their full name. But when someone asks what her middle name is, she’ll have something pretty to tell them.

Any possibility of using Catalina-McKerr instead? Seems to flow better, IMO.

Yes we would use Catalina-McKerr. We thought the other way flowed better but maybe not!
I am loving Eden Sage. A ton.
Does Eden Sage Catalina-McKerr sound best?
