McKane vs. yes vs. no

We love the name Kane but we want to give our son a more formal name....What do you think? The only thing we don’t like about it is the fact that John McCain might become president and we don’t want our son to have the same name as the president.

Kane sound formal. If you don’t think it’s formal enough than give your son a very formal middle name.

I soon as I read the name I thought of John McCain even before I finished reading your post. I think if you like Kane, you should go with it.

I don’t like McKane as a name and I really did think of Sen. McCain when I read it.

Kane is fine.

McCoy
or just Kane
