Sibling for vs. Rome vs. and Cairo?

Hi, we’re expecting our last little princess and are looking for an unusual place name, preferably a capital, as Rome and Cairo are. I will post our current list. Suggestions are welcome! (If you’re interested, Rome and Cairo have NEVER been picked on for their names.) Thank you, Jason, Bree, Elisabeth Rome, Juliana Cairo.

I like Madrid. It’s well known and easy to pronounce, just like Rome and Cairo, but not frequently used, like Paris.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I’m not too excited about Paris, it’s too unoriginal for my family’s taste :) Anyone have first names to go with them? Thanks!

I think my favorite from your list is Jerusalem (I came across a character in a book with this name, and I fell in love with it!), but Nicosia is a close second. Other suggestions could be:

Avarua

Cayenne

Gustavia

Havana

Jakarta

Manila

Lima

Pristina

Berlin

Suva

Tirana

Vienna

Praia

Like any? Good luck! :-)

I love Ankara! Please use that one, it is gorgeous! And it fits in with the boys oh so lovely. Next is Vienna. I dont like Madrid, most people shorten it to Maddie and there are tons of those. GL

Madrid is perfect. Fits perfectly with Rome and Cairo. You could even use Maddie as a nickname.
