i voted hated just because its dated, both names are. maybe one of the names could be more modern?

It sounds so old... and not in a good way.

If you’re going to use Mary then I’d suggest something a little more recent... I’m not saying "popular" but something not as old sounding.

Those are the two most used names for American females if you count from like 1900, but I don’t think there’s much wrong with it. Mary is a nice name.

I think they’re kind of boring, to be honest. I’d look for something more modern. There are lots of similar names out there that are really pretty.
