Elimination Poll vs. for boys and girls vs. Thank you very much!

We are adopting boy and girl twins from a young teen mom. She wants nothing to do with them, and doesn’t want to deal with names or anything. I asked her if she wanted us to use her name or honor her in any way with their names, and she made sure I was completely clear under no uncertain terms that she wanted literally nothing to do with them. We have 15 names we love for both genders. Please eliminate one from each list and say your favorites :) We don’t care if they go together, as they are both individuals. Girls:
Eliminate - Elsie. Sorry it just makes me think of a cow.
Favorite - Eleanor. I love them all though! Can’t really go wrong here.

Boy:
Eliminate - Trevor. Just never liked it much.
Favorite - Nicholas. Especially with nickname Cole, though Nick is nice too.

Really I love a majority of your names and it was really hard to pick!

I really don’t like these type of polls. Everyone’s opinions are so different. Someone eliminated Nicholas and Elizabeth which are beautiful, classic names that will age very well.

You and your husband should really just try to narrow it down more yourselves so you get a name you absolutely love instead of being stuck with a name that you just like of like because complete strangers on a website decided that they were best.

We really love the three names for each gender you narrowed down for us! The reason we did this was because we love all of these names so much! My husband is really pushing for Ethan, though, for the boys name. For the girls we adore all three. :) Thanks!

I think we are going to use Ethan and Lucy for our twins! Ethan was technically the winner, and once we got down to about five or six, both my husband and me both felt Ethan should be our baby boy’s name. Thank you so much!

At three girls we still didn’t really know, but all of a sudden, I really felt Lucy works! It’s perfect!

What do you think of Ethan Joshua and Lucy Grace? We really want more biblical middle names. Another option is Ethan Jonah and Lucy Esther, or Ethan Matthew and Lucy Maria/Maryanne. We may post a new poll about the middle names.
