I know boys and girls named Quinn but I’ve always thought of it as more feminine. I would use it for a girl.

Its a boys name, despite usa using it on girls also its an exclusively masculine name traditionally.

I think Quinn is one of those great (yes, I think unisex is great) unisex names. I have known of boys and girls named Quinn but I feel like there were always more girls, despite its masculine origins.

I personally think its very masculine I don’t get why its used on girls in America, its not feminine/pretty at all. Unisex at the most.

I don’t get how some people think this name is masculine. I don’t think that at all, and I agree with you that it is more of a girl name. Im happy that you are sticking with Quinn, and wish you all the luck in the world. God Bless.

You will always get mixed opinions, personally I think its a harsh masculine name and would suggest Gwen instead.

My son’s name is Quinn, so I obviously feel it’s masculine. We’d never even heard of it for a girl until he was a year old, which was something of a shock.

I’d also suggest Gwen or Gwyneth as a more feminine name. We had Gwyneth on our girl list until we realized how close Gwyn and Quinn are.
