So vs. Confused
Hey! My boyfriend and I are very confused at this point for our child’s name and we need your help. Neither of our families have been much help to us, except for reminding us that we need to pick a name that is suitable for a mixed child. We have no idea what that means, we didn’t really think names had races or anything of the sort; but we could really use some suggestions. Do you have any ideas? We are only looking for first names, please. Thank you! ~Annie

We like James, but it has already been used by multiple family members
I really don’t think it matters about choosing a name with a ’race’, as in general I think it’s a bit of a daft comment. I can understand it, as in some names are really obviously of a certain origin and would look odd being used in certain other countries, but IMO, it’s not a huge issue.
How about: Bradley
My cousin’s little boy is mixed--his name is Kayson Nehemiah. I also have some friends who named their boys Lincoln, Cooper, Zachary, and Anderson. And a friend with Desiree and Journey. Pick names you love and don’t worry about it!
We like Jensen and Lincoln!
Are you having a boy or a girl? Your family is probably trying to help you not mame your child a name that will have life time of teasing.
We are keeping the sex of the baby a surprise! We’re pretty sure that there is more than our families not wanting us to choose a bad name since there is already some tension between them
We like Sophia, Avery (boy only), Penelope, Charlotte, Lucy, Lila, Clara, Madison (boy only), Eva, Sebastian, Oliver, Finn, George, Henry, Evan, Levi, Rhys, Owen, and Landon!
We like Owen!
i know a beautifull girl with a lot of spunk and personality and to top it off shes really witty, shes "mixed" her name is (Raeme)
Raeme isn’t a name we would consider for our child; and to be honest, I’m not exactly sure how to pronounce it (Ray-mm or Ray-me?)
names from foreghn countrys would be good choices for u,
ex: tori>dove in chinese,
im native american and on my third child my hubby is a red headed isralie, i can relate to the whole "mixed" thing, if ure wondering what that looks like, lol, they look like varyations of ariel and merida>the disney princesses,...
We like Lila!
Thanks for the clarification on the pronunciation, but we still wouldn’t consider the name Raeme sorry! It’s just too made up and somewhat trendy to us which is pretty much the opposite of what we want
