Kate?? vs. Kate??

I would like to name my daughter in honor of my sister-in-law Kate. I don’t neccessarily want her to have the nickname Kate, just a name that is like Kate. I hope that makes sense. Please help!! Thank you!

Catarina and Caitlin are my favorites, with these spellings. They sound like Kate and you can call her "Cate/Cait, Catie, Trina, Cat"

Go with Kaitlyn. I know a Kaitlyn(sp. this way) called Kate, and a Katelyn(sp. this way) called Katie. Then I know a plain Caitlin. Though I like Kaitlyn nn Kate and think it is very beautiful!
