I have never seen this name until tonight, but every time I saw it on here, it made me think of a girl. I think both Emlyn and Emmeline sound girly to me (any name that ends with "lyn" sounds like a girl name to me).

What about Emlin or a non y spelling since that’s apparently very girly in America? Love the sound of Emlyn on a boy.
