Tobias isn’t terrible, just not my style. I actually think October is pretty cool, and I like that you can get the nickname Toby/Tobie from both Tobias and October.

I LOVE October! I’m not a huge fan of Tobias, but with the nickname Toby it’s okay.

Tobias is a fine name. I like Toby for a nick name. Its cute.

October on the other hand is far from my cup of tea. It sounds like your really stretching to find a unique name and coming up with something that is boring and pretty bad at the same time. No nickname will make it cute... at least that I can think up. And she has to live with it for life. Would you go to a doctor or lawyer with that name? Would you vote for a politican with that name? Odds are no because people tend not to take people with really bizarre names seriously. I personally wouldnt go with October for any amount of money. But its totally your call. I just think if you can chose a stylish name like Tobias you could find something as underused and nice as it for a girl.

@2-Thanks! I like October Lily and DH likes October Sophie. For a boy I like Tobias James and DH likes Tobias Matthew.
@3- Personally I don’t think I pay much attention to the professionals I use names.

What about tabitha grace?

If you decide to do October you should def go with grace.

I like Tobias. I don’t care for October (although I do like April, May, June, and January, so maybe it could work). I like Toby as a nn for October, but one day she’ll need to put October on a resume and I (as a hiring manager) would have trouble taking her as a professional. Would you consider Taube or Tabitha for a girl?

So either Tobias James or October Grace?
