Please vs. Help vs. Us

My husbands dad is named charles and my husband is charles and now my husband wants to name our son charles but with a different middle name so he’s not the third. I don’t like the idea of it but I want some other peoples info. What do you all think? Please Help by telling if you think it is a good idea or bad and why!

If you don’t like it, be honest. Find a name you both love :)

Honestly, I’d use it as the middle name.

William Charles
David Charles
Ian Charles
Brandon Charles
Austin Charles
Richard Charles
Cameron Charles
Samuel Charles
Simon Charles
Brian Charles
Tristan Charles
Logan Charles
Aaron Charles
Gregory Charles
Devin Charles

You should use it as the middle name.. Josiah Charles?

I’d say either make it exactly the same, so he’s a "III" or go for a completely different name. I think Charles DifferentMiddleName would feel a bit ripped off to only get half the family name.

How about Trey or Tripp Charles? Trey and Trip mean the third. That way he can have the Charles connection but not have the same name as his dad (I think that would be confusing).
