Girls vs. Names

Hey. I did a poll yesterday for the names Seattle, Libuse, and Denver for my daughter. Not many people like our idea of either a.) names or b.) the city-theme for our children, considering we already have Boston. We’re not giving up completely on Seattle, Libuse, and Denver for our daughter, we are open to other suggestions, so if you have any girl names that you think sound good with Boston, let us know so we can consider. Thanks.

Hey. I love the name Boston (I’m thinking of using that name for my own son when I have one). I actually like Seattle.

People are always going to have something rude or negative to say! I love boy names for girls and every time I post a poll on here I usually get the most negative comments. I don’t let it bother me and you shouldn’t either! If you like the name that is ALL that matters. I think Denver would be absolutely gorgeous on a little girl. I LOVE place names!!! Denver is so unique and refreshing. I also love, love, love Houston, Phoenix, & Camden for a little girl!

What about:

Boston and Brooklyn*
Boston and Charlotte*
Boston and Dallas
Boston and Austin
Boston and Sicily
Boston and Phoenix
Boston and London
Boston and Alexandria*
Boston and Madison*

I’d either choose Brooklyn (New York), Charlotte (Noth Carolina), Alexandria (Virginia), or Madison (Wisconsin)

Oh dear, not Boston and Seattle. It’ll be like you’re saying you have one formal kid and one casual kid.

Eh...why when someone has a different opinion is it always considered rude....

/sigh

anyways...

I still think themed kids names w/ multiple cities is a bad idea

I’ve grown to like the name Boston...however if you pair it iwth another city name it will just be ridiculous.

Your kids will be teased and tormented. It’s not creative. It’s not being different. It’s not being cute. There are plenty of great names out there without settling on a theme

And while there are plenty of cute city names to choose from...you’ve already got one. one is enough

I think I agree with 3boxers. The name Boston has really grown on me. I like it. However, two city names . . .a little much.

Libuse (pronounced "Libu-shay") is a name in the Czech Republic. It would probably be unique in the States, England, Australia, or wherever you live.
