I know someone named Tirza. Everyone thought her name was so beautiful and unique. It’s teer-zuh. And her middle name was Raine, which everyone her age loved too. She was very proud of her name.

It seems like I’ve read online how someone heard about or met a girl named Valentine, and it was so cool to them. They said they were just itching to find out her little sisters name, too, since Valentine was such a great name.

I met a girl named Kaia and I just love the sound of her name!

For boys, my absolute all-time favourite name is Jack and every time I meet a Jack I just immediately like them because of their name.

I have a sister named Maizy (may-ZEE), and everyone always gushes over how unique it was. Then I had a popular name, of course. I was always jealous of how everyone loved her name when they heard it.

Do you want a "unique" or "out-there" name that will really stand out in people’s minds, in which case the "oh, that’s a nice name" comments will likely mostly be because people don’t have anything nice to say about the name, or do you want names that we honestly think are wonderful names?

Johanna, Kristen and Katherine are names I find to be beautiful! For boys I don’t know. I’m expecting a daughter, so I haven’t thought much a about boys names. But I think Liam, Rory and just generally Irish names sound really pretty.

I have a beautiful friend Vashti. When we first met, I was almost stunned by how lovely that name is. She has been my best friend for 11 years, and I named my oldest daughter Adara Vashti after her.
I am equally in love with the name Leif. I think it is masculine, yet has a nature appeal to it, and is strong. I am pregnant with a son who is due in 9 days!!! (Yay!) and am planning on naming him Leif Oliver.

I met a little girl named Margot. When I met her it was the first time I ever heard the name, and I’ve thought it was awesome from the start. It’s pronounced like Margo, but I think it’s better with a T on the end.

Also, I know someone who’s son’s name is Wolfgang. I am in love with that!
