No. This is the sort of name I prefer for boys. It’s a surname and those really almost never feel suitable for girls to me.

I love Everly for a girl. It was on my list but got eliminated.

I loved that name as a potential girls name for a future baby UNTIL I saw that everybody was suddenly naming their daughter Everly. Dang Channing Tatum and his wife!! Still like the name, but hate how often I hear it.

will you have a middle name or is ward the middle name?

No, Ward is our surname. We don’t have a middle name and don’t know if we would like one. Thanks, Emma.

I think it’s cute. I’ve seen it spelled Everly & Everleigh. I prefer the later to give it more of a feminine flair.

Don’t love it. Not a fan of the trendy, last-name-as-first-name and "anything starting with an E" trend. That said, it’s not as bad as a lot of other names, and it’s becoming more popular, so will feel less "out there" than it would have a few years ago.

Idk its just one letter short of Beverly which isnt attractive at all imo. Everly is super trendy and is catching on but I dont see the appeal. I like just Ever on its own. And id give her a middle name, it gives her options when she is older and this way her full name doesnt sound like an expensive insane asylum. Im sorry, if that comes off, that is not my intention. Its just my honest thoughts. Use it if you love it.

Yeah Everly is more a boys name.
What about:
Lilly-Rose
Aaleyah
Jemma
Fiza

Everly is a surname and Ward can be a first name for boys so I would be worried that people will think she is a boy named Ward Everly.

Thank you so much for your thoughts. But dont really understand why one of you think her name would sound like an "expensive insane asylum" in my opinion this has nothing to do with honesty.
But to the others: We are very thankful and maybe we will think of a female middle name, but Everly will stay. Thank you, Emma.
