Unisex vs. Gender Specific

A lot of people have told me that Morgan was unisex, but the only Morgans I know are girls. I’m considering naming my daughter Morgan Leigh, but if that may be confused with a boys name I don’t want to.

I’ve only known girl Morgans too and the name is way more popular on girls. Morgan Leigh is a great name!

My brothers name is Morgan and he’s named after another male Morgan. But I do know a girl morgan as well

I’ve only ever known male Morgans but either way 2 unisex names is definitely too unisex.

Morgan is unisex, and it’s one of the few names I love equally on both genders! However, I think people might assume feminine before masculine, because Morgan as a girl’s name seems to be more popular, and because of its ties in Arthurian Legend. I think Morgan Leigh is absolutely gorgeous, and I really wouldn’t worry about it being unisex. I definitely hear of more female Morgans than male ones. :-)

I agree that it maybe confused with a boys name as they are both unisex. I’ve known lots of Morgan’s some male some female. Maybe do
Morgana Leigh or Morgan Leighann

Morgana is really bad. Morgan is fine for your daughter, I’ve never met a male Morgan.

Morgana is really pretty. Morgan is a little boring anyway. There are sooo many of them.
