I know a few Adams and no one ever really had a problem with it. If someone does call him dumb, then those people aren’t very creative, are they! I wouldn’t worry about it too much. If you love it, go for it. I also love the name Alexander, so I voted for Adam Alexander. I think double A initials look very distinctive with any last name...A.A. _____. Very cool! Good luck!

I wouldn’t worry...I mean, someone somedy will probably say that, but kids will find ANYTHING. My maiden name was Brown and it took kids a while but finally someone came up with Doo-Doo-Brown.
Dumb isn’t too bad, it could be a lot worse...we decided not to go with Becker since it rhymes with the slang term for a male body part.
MN I like best is Vincent, very nice! GL!

No one will say anything about the "dum".... I grew up with a bunch of adams and thats such a common name that you’d never think to call em dumb

I also know a few Adams (my husband being one of them) and I’ve never heard of them being teased for that.

There was a kid named Jeffrey Peed in my 4th grade class! Poor kid, it wouldn’t have mattered what his first name was! He constantly got "ewww Jeffrey peed in his pants!!"

I knew a Harry Growth in 6th grade, and my stepdad’s last name is Queer!

Adam is far too common to get picked on like that!
