The only one I hate is Paisley. The rest are just ok. Maybe Pippa, if it’s short for Philippa, is best.

Worst Paisley-it automatically reminds me of that hideous excorcist puke green or that weird green shade people turn when nauseous. Also it is very popular amongst teen parents and other dated trends.
Pascale- I wouldn’t want to be named Pascale, it doesn’t look or sound feminine for a girl or woman. What cute nicknames does it have? None that I can think of
Peony- I knew a little girl named Peony and kids would make her cry calling her Pee on Me.
Paige- It is overused and bland, I agree. It doesn’t impress me at all. I like to swoon at children’s special names.
Anything with Paul in it as well, its just not pretty to me. Sure I know a Paula and her name fits her but its still a boys name to me. Now reminds me of the alien movie.

Best
Pippa- It is sweet and royal! it doesn’t get any more beautiful and special.
Phaedra- great history, its uncommon, strong, and still femme. The nn Phae/Faye is cute.
Penelope- It just flows off the tongue like a symphony, it is perfect for agirl and one day woman.
Posy/Poesy- I love its simplicity and yet sheer feminine rarity. Reminds me of dancing, playfulness, and Roses. What better imagery can you ask for? Its a whole lot better than Poppy.

May I ask, I have seen your list many times over, what is your method of elimination? Your list is shorter but it is taking an awfully long time to narrow down and you ignore a lot of people’s opinions. Does it have to be a big enough reason for you to get rid of a name? You don’t have your own favorites by now? Surely you must love some more than the others by now. What are they?

Get rid of the oldie names: Patricia, Paulette, Pearl, Perla.

I like Phoebe and Pia best.

To answer your question, we’re tallying the votes for best and worst. If it gets to -2 we eliminate it. So if 2 people dislike a name, but 6 like it then it would have a +4 and it would stay on our list.

The whole reason I made this list is because I love everything. There were only maybe 3 names that start with P that didn’t make the list initially. They all have their reasons why I love them and I just can’t bring myself to eliminate any and if I do, I just bring them back. This way, I can remind myself that I eliminated it because 7 people didn’t like it.

Eliminate Paisley. It’s ugly. Sorry.

Keep Pia and Perdita.
