Very lovely, great choices although Lorelei is growing in popularity. That might not change anything for you but its good to know :) GL

I like it! They have the same number of syllables but a different sound, so they make a nice pair.

I wouldn’t worry too much about popularity with either of these names either.

Thanks and at the moment none are too popular yet with Lorelei at 533 and Meredith at 668. If they do grow a lot more in popularity I will just be a bit ahead of the curve and I am fine with that.

Not bad. Lorelei is more purely feminine than the technically unisex Meredith.

Dislike Meredith, sorry. To me it always looks like a surname and quite masculine.

I hate unisex names and I don’t think one very feminine name goes well with one that is unisex. Sorry.

Wow I’m surprised at all the hate for Meredith as a unisex name. I really, really don’t think anyone today would see Meredith and think it might be a boy.

Where are you all when people want to name their daughters Elliot and Ryan? Those are truly male names.

Meredith and Lorelei are cute together.

That’s why I said "technically unisex". Meredith is indeed "mostly" feminine these days. But not entirely. There was an actor who named his son Meredith just a couple of years ago. Can’t think of his name. He was on Ghost Whisperer. Lorelei is, and always has been, nothing but feminine. That was my only point. I don’t hate Meredith at all.

I like both and this is a refreshing choice of names compared to all the overused or made up names I see on here.

The names are very sweet, but I must admit that Lorelei is a lot more colorful than Meredith. Anyway the choice is yours, so good luck! :)
