Definitely boy. Adrienne is the feminine spelling. You could also use Adrianne.
I associate the Adrian spelling with boys but my step-sister’s name is Adrienne.
Boy - Adrian; Girl - Adrienne. On hearing it, I think it’s completely neutral.
I guess it kind of is. Adrian is the masculine spelling. Adrienne is the feminine spelling. Adrian is quite popular for a boy right now, its in the top 100 names for boys currently. I and I’m sure many others will associate it more with a boy because of that.
Adrienne is a lot less popular for girls, but its still pretty well know. The variation Adriana is significantly more popular though.
well in my house it works both ways because I have a husband named Adrian-Eric and a daughter named Adrienne after him.
Adrian is not unisex - in this spelling it a boys name.
Adrienne is the girls equivalent and its pronounced differently.
This spelling is definitely male. I like it a lot, too. I’m surprised it ranks as high as poster #4 indicates. I don’t hear it very often and that’s a huge plus for the name in my opinion.
They are different names. Adrian is a BOYS name and Adrienne a girl’s.
Adrian is just a boys name.
