Can I vs. Use Eli

I wanted Ethan, but our best friends named their son Ethan first. They didn’t know we had it on our list. Anyway, I also like Eli, but one of our nephews is named Peyton... He’s 6. Do you think that will be s problem Eli and Peyton. If its weird can you suggest a similar name?

You can use it. It’s not like they are brothers, and anyone who even noticed the connection would probably just think it was an interesting coincidence.

I definitely think its fine. They aren’t brothers and like the previous poster said it would just be an interesting coincidence. Doesn’t matter.

NOT a problem at all! The Manning’s are a family just like any other family, just because people know about them doesn’t mean you can’t use their names. I’m sure there must have been families with siblings named Eli and Peyton before the Manning’s named theirs, and it wasn’t a problem. I have two girls Annie and Grace, and I’m sure there’s other families with those two names together. And besides, they’re cousins NOT even siblings! And Eli is such a handsome name, I love it so much. You may also like Elliot, Levi, Asher, Oliver, Tanner, Noah, or Caleb. Congrats on your little guy :)

It’s completely fine. There was someone on here the other day that said they were naming their twins Peyton and Manning which is definitely not ok!
