Fox vs. ???
Is Fox a good boys name? All my life I’ve wanted to name my son Fox, and now I’m expecting a boy and my husband loves the name! But, I want to know how others feel about it. I’m open to suggestions for other names that mean Fox, but please not Todd/Tod because I have a German last name and my father-in-law laughed at that because Tod is the German word for Death. Is the English name Fox okay?

I really like it as a middle name/nickname. You could give him a more professional first name and call him by his middle name (Fox).
I don’t think it’s a terrible first name. If you want to use it, you can.
I like it!
Lukela and Reynard/Raynard both mean fox and both have normal nn if you want them.
I just did a quick search of the name. I was thinking it could be short for something and used as a nickname. Actually, it looks Fox is a legitimate name, in and of itself, with some history behind it. It’s kind of cool. I say use it.
Use it as a middle name but not as a first name. Can you picture yourself going to Dr Fox (your last name) or a president named Fox?
My cousins name is Felix but he goes by Fox.
I like it! I think it sounds adorable on a little boy and handsome on a man! I can actually see it on a lawyer, doctor, president, or any other high-profile profession. I think it’d work splendidly on any personality as well. I think it’s a wonderful choice! :-)
yes, maybe spell it different
or just keep it simple Fox
I think a Fox would be laughed at as well. Your son is a PERSON not an animal. Put it in the middle spot if you must.
I would not use it as a given first name. I like the suggestion of Felix or a middle name.
I think it should be either a nickname (preferably) or a middle name. I think he will get made fun of..example "What does the Fox say?!"
