Butterfly, Angel, Miracle, Strength vs. Baby Girl With Rare Condition
We are having a baby girl. Long story but please read. Our baby was diagnosed with a very rare, untreatable condition. She isn’t expected to live to her teens. We want to give her a really inspirational name to help her and us through the hard times. Her older brothers are Spencer William and Henry Marsden, named after family members. Both brothers are deeply saddened by the discovery of our daughters illness. Can you please suggest names that mean ’angel’ ’miracle’ ’butterfly’ or even names that have some kind of ’strength’ meaning. First and middle names please. Thanks, the Amidaio family.

You’ve probably gotten tired of hearing "I’m sorry" over and over again so I apologize for saying it yet again...but my heart aches for you and I’m truly sorry. Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish.
Kimimela - little butterfly
Mirari - Miracle
Serafina - Angel
Brielle - God is my strength

Valerie - Strength
I hope that you will find the perfect name for your little girl! God bless you and your family!
My heart goes out to your family. Good luck. Here are my suggestions.
Names that mean Butterfly
Names that mean Angel
Names that mean Miracle
Names that have a Strength meaning:
Spencer and Henry are 14 and 11 years old. So they can understand what is going to happen to their baby sister. I wish they were younger so they didn’t have to be burdened with so much knowledge.
As for the names, i have a few we have seen so far that i like.
Thanks so much.
I have heard ’sorry’ multiple times but every sorry could mean a person praying for my little girl. So I listen to them all. Thanks.
How very sad! I wouldn’t put any of the names in your list on her, simply because they sound so "out there" it’s almost like you aren’t considering giving her a ’real’ name. May I suggest names?
Angela, Angelica, Angelise-- ’angel’
Miranda-- ’wonder, awe’ (miracle)
Gloria, Glory-- ’glory’
Helen, Ellen, Eleanor-- ’light’
Leilani-- ’heavenly flower’
My deepest sympathies
Esther Matilda would be lovely and together mean miracle strength. Very fitting. I’m so sorry you’re in this situation, its every expectant parents worst nightmare. I will be praying for your family.
