Marie-Claude Natalie vs. Yes vs. No

We want to use the name Marie-Claude Natalie for our daughter (who us due on or around Christmas) but are worried about the meanings of Marie (bitter, according to most) and Claude (lame). Should we use Marie-Claude anyway because she is being named after relatives or use something else? Marie will definitely stay, but Claude we are willing to change. My husband and I both have lots of French roots so please if you suggest something make sure its apart of that culture. We have also looked at Marie-Belle. Christine & Matt.

What about Mirabelle? Have you thought about using Natalie for a first name? Mirabelle Natalie sounds nice.
Mirabelle is of French origin and means "of incredible beauty" just think, "of incredible beauty, born at Christmas!" It’s lovely don’t you think?

Mirabelle Natalie is pretty but I have a cousin named Mira so I do not think we will use Mirabelle.

Thought Claude was a male name...
Marie-Belle is nicer. Has a lighter and happier feel, if that makes any sense. I think Marie-Claude would be burden.
