Laney is no doubt a nn! I can’t imagine it as a fn or seeing it on a birth certificate. I like Lane, NOT Laney! Way too cutesy and wouldn’t age well. Sorry!

I much prefer this as a nickname. I think it is extremely cute for a child, but for a business card or an adult in a professional setting, I just don’t see it making a great first impression, etc. I like the above suggestions and will also suggest Lalaine which i Have heard of (rarely) just to put it out there. Do you like any of the suggestions? my favorites are elaine/a and delaney!

I know an extremely aodrable little girl named Alayna but we call her Lani so much it’s like her real name. I think it could be used for a full name, and I really think it sounds lovely with Lani Madeline.
