Names that make you vs. think of the colour vs. purple?

Strange question I know! But aside from the obvious Violet (spoken for) and Lilac (which I’m not keen on) Are there any names that strike you as ’purple’? For example, when I think of the name Caitlin or Candace I think of pink! When I think of the name Grace I see meadow green, where Cordelia conjures yellow and amber hues! Perhaps it’s just me! Anyway I love purple so if you understand what I mean please suggest names you associate with that! Thanks

Lydia was a lady in the bible who was a seller of purple. Then, there is the name Amethyst. The birthstone.

Hmm:

Sian (Sharn)
Andi (Alexandra, Andrea and Alexandria are all not purple, Andi is though)
Lorna (could also be dark blue)
Beatrice (could also be more pinky/red)
Bethan
Cora
Tabitha
Magenta
Orchid
Flora

I think a lot of purple names are obviously girl names, but not very ’frilly’.

lol ok here\’s my though process in suggesting the name. WHen I think purple, one thing that comes to mind is the sky in the evening and into the night in summer. All those deep blues and purples. So that made me think of Shakespeares a Midsummer Nights Dream. Which makes me think of the character Helena.

So, I suggest Helena.

Yes you have hit the nail on the head there! Purple names are girly yet have timeless elegance...thanks for suggesting Cora, that is definitely a purple name! Also Leila as somebody suggested before but I missed somehow! Also a very purple name. I am astonished that people have understood what I mean and made apropriate suggestions I hadn’t thought of! - poster
