Olivia Michelle vs. Kherington Michelle

My hubby and I know that we would like to use Michelle for the middle name but now are trying to find a unique first name that will create that "ring". What are your thoughts between these two? Any other ideas? - Jennifer

Kherington? Really?

Olivia Michelle looks and sounds the best and another plus - it doesn’t give you a headache when you look at it. It also makes you seem older than 12.

I like Kerrigan/Kerigan but definitely not Carrington unless it is spelled closer to this way and without that H. Good luck!

Kherington is the name of one of the dancers on So You Think You Can Dance this season. It is on right now, so it probably inspired the poll maker.

well i definitely don’t think that olivia is the name you are going for if looking for unique, that is just because it has been really popular for the past couple years. i don’t like kherington at all actually. i don’t think it is attractive on a cute little girl and it hink its kind of trendy, especially this spelling. i would prefer carys because that isn’t used so much. or even keralyn, kerri.

some other unique names i think sound good with michelle are...
fern michelle
eden michelle
dawn michelle
zinnia michelle
briony michelle
odessa michelle
valerie michelle
bethany michelle
daphne michelle
melanie michelle
piper michelle

Olivia is so popular these days! It’s way overused and doesn’t stand out at all! I ADORE Kherington! This is the exact name/spelling I’m using for my little girl. I was originally going to spell it Karington but then someone suggest Kherrington (but I didn’t like the 2 r’s) and then I saw Kherington on SYTYCD and I fell in LOVE with it all over again! This name is beautiful and unique and stands out! It’ll catch everyone’s eye! That’s why I love it! Not many people have this name (esp. the spelling!). I def. say go for it! gl :)

Would the spelling of Kerrington/Kerington/Karington be better?

I do think the spelling Kerrington or Karrington would be a better choice. To me, it looks less trendy, I would prefer it the most if it began with a c though, it gives it a softer and mroe feminine look to me.

I prefer Carrington but for a name, it sounds more high class boy to me.

Olivia is WAY, WAY, WAY too common and so overused these days! Kherington is absolutely adorable. It’s really different. I really love it. Good luck!

i agree that if youre going for unique, "Olivia" is not the name for you. Olivia has rated in the top 10 since 2001 and was in the top 5 for 3 years.

Olivia is a lovely name, but if you’re looking for unique, as other posters have stated, Olivia is not it. I like Carrington/Kerrington (but prefer Kerrigan) however, I dislike the spelling Kherington and ALSO it does NOT flow well with your last name. What about Chloe/Khloe or Ariel/Arielle?
