It is cutesy. My dog’s name is Zoey. It could be a great middle name though. Charlotte Zoe, Amelia Zoe, Ariel Zoe, Hannah Zoe, Rebecca Zoe, Genevieve Zoe, Celeste Zoe. Good luck!

Too babyish sounding to me. It is a pretty name but more so for a little girl than a grown woman. It’s hard to imagine talking to a female lawyer or accountant named Zoe

She could always go by the nickname Zo without the EE pronunication.

I like Zoe. I think it would work fine as an adult name. People should stop naming their dogs after people. Zoe was a people name first, not a dogs name.

I don’t think the spelling Zoey ages well -- it looks goofy. But Zoe and Zoë are both fine, dignified-looking names for adults. Some people may not understand how one spelling can age better than another spelling of the same name, but I present Soozin vs. Susan, Sharlit vs. Charlotte, Alycinn vs. Allison.

I disagree with the majority of the posts. The name Zoe ages very well and it always has a sophisticated look and sound. However, the spelling Zoey stays five-years-old for her entire life. I think that naming your daughter Zoe is a wonderful choice.
