The thing is, Cassidy is not a traditional Irish girls name. It is an Irish surname that is used as a girls name only in America. If you named a girl Cassidy in Ireland people would laugh. If you want her to have a true Irish first name then I wouldn’t go with Cassidy. But if you just want her name to come from Ireland and don’t care how it is traditionally used then I guess its fine.

I personally prefer it for a boy. But I tend to prefer most unisex names for boys (Kelsey, Stacey, Avery, etc.) Cassidy isn’t bad on a girl by any means, though. Actually pretty cute. If you love it, go for it. It goes really well with your other names too. Cassidy Bridget or Cassidy Blaire would be nice combos.
