I think the whole "your child will be teased unless she shares the same name as half a dozen other kids in her class" thing is sooo over played. It’s a real name. Not like a piece of fruit or something. If people have never heard it, well, they can broaden their horizons.

It sounds similar to Novalee but with an La instead of an No. And commenter #2 while I disagree with you I appreciate your honesty.

Is it like Lovely? How is it said?
I don’t really like the spelling, but the name itself seems nice enough (if I’m saying it right).

I knew a Lavalea growing up. Beautiful and popular and most important, a good person. Everyone thought her name was cool

Thanks for the suggestions I was looking for a more traditional or classic middle name. Longer then 5 letters but not super long.

I’m not a fan of Georgiana but Georgia is pretty. And I like Eleanor but thing the L sound in both names makes it confusing.

I just say it like "Lava-Lee." Is that right? I can’t say I care for it personally. It makes me think of destruction by lava...But then I suddenly remember Sharkboy and Lavagirl when Lavagirl learns that she is "not destruction" or "just a simple flame." But that she’s light. And now I kinda like Lavallee. So, while it’s not a name I’d use, or not even advise, it’s also not one I’d actively discourage you from using. It’s...actually pretty nice.
