? Lorraine vs. Please vs. Help!

Hey Baby Namers!! My DH and I are expecting our first child and we have our boys name set but we are really struggling to find a girls name. The middle name will be Lorraine as it has family meaning. He likes traditional names (Miranda), I like unusual/don’t hear very often names (Veronica). It’s been very hard to find a balance.

I love both Miranda and Veronica! How about Vera? That sounds similar to the Mira in Miranda, but has the same meaning as Veronica.

I love the name Vera, have for a long time. But he has an Aunt Vera. I’m not sure how well it would go over with everyone. I might try it though. Thank you!!

Funny, I would have put Miranda and Veronica as very much in the same style. Both names that are traditional names that went a bit out of style for a while, but that are coming back into popularity (but neither being overly popular).

Other names that I think would have a similar style: Vanessa, Sabrina, Leslie, Joanna/Joanne, Patricia, Matilda, Stephanie, Amanda.
