I do like it quite a lot! I have only heard this name on an elderly American lady who used to live next door to me but I love it! Btw, I live in London. GL!

My name is Amy, and my sister used to call me Mamie when she was small and couldn’t say my name properly. For this reason, I associate it with small children, and I find it very nickname-y. I don’t think it would age well as a full name, to be honest, but it’s a cute nickname for Amy, Amanda, Amelia, Amaya etc.

I think people would pronounce it Mam-ee. If you want May-me pronunciation maybe spell it Maymie?

Honestly don’t see anyone pronouncing it properly and it seems too cutesy.
