Neu yes vs. no vs. as a middle name?
Hello, I know this may sound strange but I’m falling in love with this. It means New in German and since it’s the new year and its going to be a new starting I’m considering it for my daughter. What are your thoughts? Is it terrible or do you like it like I do? If you have something better, please say!
The Top Baby Name is...

It sounds odd. I would do something more like Nouvelle, which is similar but prettier, in my opinion.

I agree with poster 1. Nouvelle is gorgeous. Neu I think after you see the baby she would either fit the name or not.

Ask the Germans.... I find it a normal occurrence within the United States to use words from languages as names... Soleil, Jolie, Belle.... (these are French words, not French names...They are classified as American names. They are not given names in French countries. )... Personally I find it weird... Because it sounds pretty to you but to those with the language they don’t hear what you do... They will just hear (for example) " Isabelle New". It’s like what when I hear French words being used haha.

I would find a new middle name and stay away from words in languages. It’s tacky.
