How do you get Betsy from Catherine? Betsy is Elizabeth. Catherine is Cathy, Kate, Kitty, Catty, etc.

I like Lila best, but I am not a fan of Madison. It’s tired and overused, plus it’s really boyish. How about Lila Catherine? I have been hearing Lila a lot lately, so I do think it’s getting more popular if that matters.
Catherine and Adrienne are lovely too, but they don’t work well together since they end in similar sounds. Is Betsy meant to be a nickname for Catherine? Betsy is typically a nickname for Elizabeth. It’s going to be awfully confusing for a Catherine to be called Betsy.
Ricki Sue seems really 1960s and really cutesy. Ricki might be okay as a nickname for something like Erica, but I don’t care for it as a give name. Sue is a nickname, and it seems rather trite as a middle name. Erica Susan, nn Ricki Sue, would be more workable and would age better.
