Please vs. Help vs. Clarify
Hello there! My husband and I are expecting baby number 3 (our second little boy) and need some clarification. Our two children are named Charles and Eleanor but go by Charlie and Ellie. Our family and many friends are saying we need to use another nickname ending in IE or LIE; the problem is though, we haven’t found any we love. Would it be a big deal to not use another name with a nickname ending in IE/LIE? Since he will be our last baby, would he feel "left out because his name isn’t like his sibling’s names"? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! ~Rosemary

Not an issue at all. Go with whatever you like.
Benjamin Benji or Bennie
We don’t like any of those names, sorry Charlotte!
They will feel special and unique with their own name picked out just for them
Yea I agree with first post.
Thanks for the feedback! Does anyone have any suggestions of names that go well with Charlie and Ellie’s names? We do want the name to have a nickname but it doesn’t have to end with IE/LIE
- Daniel "Danny", it has the long E ending, but not the spelling
- Riley, again has the long E ending, but there’s no nick name, maybe "Ry"
- Bradley, long E ending, "Brady" long E ending
- Robert "Robbie"
- Anthony "Tony", both have long E ending, no the spelling
- Zachary "Zach", long E ending, not for the nickname though
- Bentley "Ben", same as Zachary
That’s all I could think of, like any?
But I agree, I don’t think he’ll care, just pick something you love!
Robert is actually one of Charlie’s middle names! But besides that, those names aren’t really names that we like sorry guest! We’ve looked through hundreds of names with nicknames ending in IE or LIE and haven’t found any we love. At this point, we are just looking for any names (that fit with Charlie and Ellie’s names) that have nicknames (nickname is a requirement to us)
Go with a name you love
