I don’t like India and China together.

I’m sorry but I have to be honest and say I think naming twins China and India is extremely tacky and cruel and they will probably be made fun of. If the country’s of China and India are significant to you I would find names that represent them, rather then use the country names themselves. If you just want place names then I would find subtler choices so they are less likely to be teased for it.

What other suggestions do you have? India is where our babies were conceived on our honeymoon and China is to honour Ash’s family. Thanks!

Names that represent China (probably better as middle names):
Jade: Considered Precious in China
Mei: Chinese for Beautiful
Jia: Means Good
Lin: Means Gem
Peony/Plum Blossom: National Flower of China

I think India is fine as a first name, but its just too much paired with sister China. There are tons of Indian names that work well in English too: Ex: Lila, Tara, Jaya. The national flower of India is the Lotus which might make for an interesting middle name.

I think China and India is too much for twins. Maybe you like

Indy & Cara
or
Indy & Chinouk
or
Indy & Chinara
or
Indy & Chiana
or
Indy & Chiara
or
Indy & Chimé/Chimae
or
Indy & Chiya

Good luck.

India is pretty, keep that. But with China I think they sound a bit odd. How about India and Adelaide? India and Brooklyn? Still place names but less obvious
