Ashley ______ vs. Ashlyn ______

Hi everyone! We are expecting our first baby in April, and it’s a little girl. We’re very excited! We really love the names Ashley and Ashlyn and are quite sure one of them will be her name. If you like Ashlyn how about using Aislinn? It is pronounced the same and is an Irish name meaning "dream/vision"

I like Ashley better, unless you spell Ashlyn as Aislin, in which case I like that better. I know a girl named Aislin Catriona and I think it’s lovely! Ashley Rose or Ashley Marina would be nice.

Mmm ... I kind of like Aislinn, but it looks like ayz-lin to me. I think it’d get mispronounced a lot. I think I like Ashlyn better. Thanks though.

Ashlyn is super common these days. Ashley, while still popular, is used less. I think you should go with Ashley!
