I LOVE Nikolai! So handsome! Also, it’s a variant of a well-known name (Nicholas), so it isn’t like people have never heard of it.

I’m not from America but I know several Nikolai’s here in Australia. It’s a nice name not weird at all

I doubt it would ever get pronounced Nickolay. It’s a well known name, and a very handsome one. It’s one of my favorites.
